Old World techniques are used to hammer and form copper using labor intensive methods developed centuries ago. Mexican copper is hammered by skilled coppersmiths using nothing more than fire, hammers and an anvil in a tight shallow pattern which has been optimized for enhancing how the copper wears over time. This beautiful furniture is durable and easy to maintain and includes complete care instructions.Care Instructions: All of our copper is sealed with at least three coats of clear paste wax, and buffed, before it leaves the facility in Mexico. Paste wax is the proper sealer for copper. To preserve the finish and to keep the copper sealed and protected against spills and oxidation, a thin coat of clear paste wax should be applied to the copper when a drop of water no longer beads-up on the surface. Products like Johnson\'s, Minwax or Briwax could be used. Metal polishes are not recommended as it will temporarily strip off the patina on the surface of the copper.Furniture is custom made to order. Sorry, no returns.1.
