HOT ! Arts & Crafts Large Sterling Gilt Moonstone Fur Clip

An attractive and very unique moonstone fur clip from the Arts & Crafts (ca1900s) era! This wonderful piece is crafted in gilded sterling silver and features a classic Arts and Crafts design. The pear-shaped clip is particularly large in size and adorns 20 alluring moonstones, each bezel set amidst beautiful lacy bead and wirework. The moonstones vary slightly in shape and size and display a wonderful translucence and vibrant blue flashes throughout. The back reveals a secure sterling gilt clip with 6 teeth, which helps to secure it to a collar, neckline, or jacket. The clip would also look beautiful and modern clipped to a thick silver chain. It\'s a fabulous piece and would make a wonderful and unique addition to any collection!Measurements: The clip measures approximately 2 1/2\" tall, 1 3/4\" wide, and slightly more than 7/16\" thick. Condition: The overall condition of the clip is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gilded silver setting, the moonstones, or the clip. The clip clamps securely and is in good working condition.
