Pictured is Lotus fabric. If you would like to be able to see the movements of the fabrics more in depth then check out my high light on my instagram page \"new fabrics\" to see more information.
These fabrics are all organic and are made from plant remains that come from organic rose, lotus, banana, cotton, or aloe vera farms, where they take their plant waste remains (any parts of the plants unused or thrown away) and spin them into fibers, which are then loomed on a closed-loop viscose.
Closed-loop viscose refers to a manufacturing process for producing viscose (a type of rayon) minimizes environmental impact by recycling and reusing chemicals and water used in the production process. Traditional viscose production can be environmentally harmful due to the release of toxic chemicals and high water consumption.

Closed-loop viscose refers to a manufacturing process for producing viscose (a type of rayon) that aims to minimize environmental impact by recycling and reusing chemicals and water used in the production process. Traditional viscose production can be environmentally harmful due to the release of toxic chemicals and high water consumption. The closed-loop process seeks to address these issues through:
Chemical recovery and reuse: The chemicals used in the viscose production process, such as sodium hydroxide and carbon disulfide, are captured and reused rather than being released into the environment.
Water recycling: Water used in the process is treated and recycled, significantly reducing water consumption and pollution.
Sustainable raw materials: Often, closed-loop viscose production uses sustainably sourced wood pulp, further reducing its environmental footprint.
This method is part of a broader movement towards more sustainable textile production, making viscose a more eco-friendly option.
