作品説明

京焼・清水焼の陶磁器ブランド、SIONEのフリーカップです。

陶板画制作等のアートワークを通じて国内外で活躍するSHOWKO氏が設立した工房・「SIONE」。美しい白磁に繊細で上品な金彩が特長のうつわには、ひとつひとつ物語が込められています。

KOORIシリーズはクラックした氷のような直線的でモダンなデザイン。落ち着いたGOLDの輝きはどんな空間でも合います。フリーカップは、コーヒーやお湯のみとして、またロックグラス、夏場はそばちょこなどいろいろな用途にお使い頂けます。シリアルとヨーグルトなど、朝食シーンでも活躍します。複数あっても重ねられるので収納スペースもとりません。

作家：SIONE（SHOWKO）

330年続く茶陶の窯元「真葛焼」に生まれる。佐賀での陶芸の修行の後、2005年に京都に戻り自身の工房を立ち上げ陶板画作家として独特の技法で制作をはじめる。その後、グラフィックデザイナーとしての経験をもとに、器の可能性を探求。2009年、工房を法人化し読む器というコンセプトで物語のあるブランド「SIONE（シオネ）」を立ち上げる。2016年に銀閣寺界隈にて直営店をオープン。陶板画制作やアートワークなどを通じて、もてなしの時間や空間を創造し国内外にて展覧会を開催。日本をはじめ、ミラノ、パリ、中国、台湾などに活動を広げている。
