REASON FOR COLOUR VARIATION IN IMAGES
All hand knotted rugs have a smooth pile side and a rough pile side. The direction of a rug’s pile results in it’s light and dark shades.
The smooth pile side reflects the light, giving the rug a lighter tone whilst the rough pile side absorb the light giving the rug a dark or deeper tone.
The colours of a rug will appear either lighter or darker depending on which side the viewer is standing or taking images.
