Discovered in a former boudoir of Paris Cardinal, Paris this jeweler said to have been given to the favorite lover of the powerful c17 French war minister and clergyman, and notorious womanizer, Cardinal Richelieu.
Baroque style inspires this beautifully delicate necklace with rose and vine detail and a single black rose, accentuated with a stunning black Austrian crystal. Designed and hand made in an antiqued English pewter.
On a split chain 6 ½” each side, with a 2 ½” chain adjuster.
