HOT ! DIY Low Bench Kit. Let\'s get organized.

This low bench kit is great for any nook, entry, hallway or a low coffee table or for low seating. A perfect piece for in front of your bed, behind your sofa, or as side tables that stretch from bed to wall.  Visually divide an open room or use as a plant stand.

This easy to assemble kit contains 3 unfinished plywood supports + 8 wedges. Sandpaper included. All pieces are cut from FSC certified, Pure Bond plywood which uses only soy-based glues, so no worries about added formaldehyde. No metal fasteners, this sturdy bench is held together by tension.  No tools required.

13 boards of inexpensive 2X3 lumber (not included in kit) are needed for this project which can be sourced locally. 

Make sure you can source 2X3\'s locally before purchasing your kit. carries them but in some cases, you will need to call ahead and have them brought in from a larger store. Thirteen, 8 foot long 2 X 3\'s cost us just $29.38 + tax and fit in our Prius. delivers to most areas as well if you need. Most s will cut the lumber to the lengths you need free of charge.

The bench is 21 5/8\" deep

Seat height is 8 1/2\"

Plywood support height is 11 1/8\"

Length is determined by the length of the lumber you source.

Have fun creating artistic cushions for your low, Scandinavian style bench.  

Repurpose old cushions or create a new braided cushion with our linking pillows.  Our 20 X 30 hull insert (sold separately) is sized perfectly for this bench and can be wrapped with a furoshiki style cover for a no sew project.
