Operating at 99.9 percent efficiency, these heaters will continue to operate even without electrical power. Completely safe, the Oxygen Depletion Sensor shuts down the heater before the oxygen drops to an unsafe level. Every heater is being tested at the factory to check the ODS system. Hearthrite vent-free infrared heaters operate with 99.9 percent AFUE efficiency.Featuring a standing pilot and a push-button ignition, heat is literally seconds away-even if there is no power! This vent-free heater is installed on the wall, but an optional floor stand is available.A Professional installation by a certified gas technician is required. Models using Propane Gas must be operated with a 100 lb or larger tank and an external regulator with an output of 11 - 14\" WC must be used. Repairs must be done by a qualified service contractor. Use only in compliance with local codes.

What is the difference between, Millivolt and electronic ignition heaters?

Millivolt fireplaces use the electricity produced by a standing pilot to operate the heater. Electronic ignition heaters rely on a power source to power the heater, this can be house voltage as well as battery voltage.

Can I use a Wi-Fi Thermostat with my unit?

Our units are designed to be operated by millivolts or low voltage. Most Wi-Fi thermostats use 24volts and are not compatible.

Where can I find my model and serial number?

There is a rating plate attached to the valve of your appliance that will have the model and serial number information.

Does our product work during a power outage?

Yes, most of our appliances have the ability to be used in a power outage situation. Please refer to the user manual or see a local dealer for more information.
