A striking set of six late 19th-century French dining chairs made in the style of Louis XIII, sourced from Provence, France. The set consists of four side chairs and two armchairs. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak wood featuring an elegant chapeau de gendarme back frame. The chairs have been structurally restored and previously reupholstered with luxurious light green chenille fabric on the seats and printed fabric on the front back. The printed fabric features a dark blue background with off-white, yellow, and green accent colors. The fabric is clean-finished with oversized antique brass nailhead trim. The chairs are raised on traditional barley twist legs showcasing a naturally aged patina with a beautiful brown color.
