Designer\'s words:
The love knot has a funny backstory. Ancient sailors were often taciturn and shy with a lover in some port. To know if his feelings were reciprocated, a tampon with a knot at each end could be his savior in times of need.
The stamp was sent home to the girlfriend. If she then appreciated his adoration, she pulled the two knots together into one and returned it to sender. And the sailor was confirmed that he could calmly continue the courtship.
For me, the knots came to be a symbol of fidelity, stability and strength in both friendship and love. And I was inspired by them to make jewelry in silver and gold.
