HOT ! Brown Jade Milk Tea Necklace - II

Inspired by the designer’s Taiwanese roots and exploration of one of her maternal Aunt’s Milk Tea Business in Taipei during the beginnings of Bubble Tea. With Brown Jade representing “boba” and the Freshwater Pearls representing “milk”. With an Agate “tea bag pendant” and a Brown Jade “heart cookie”. Duality is one of COVEN’s most popular pieces but rarely has it been done in a fashion that is soft and feminine like this piece. As always, toggle and duality necklaces can be worn two ways!

Brown Jade symbolizes grounding and stability. 

Pearls are the June birthstone. They have long been associated with the moon and represent innocence, purity, faith, love, and balances emotions.

Jade is a highly valued and revered gemstone with a rich history and symbolism in various cultures around the world. It has been prized for its beauty, durability, and cultural significance for thousands of years. Jade dates back to 6000 BCE to the Neolithic period of Ancient China and was considered an “Imperial Gemstone”. During this time they used Jade to make ceremonial objects, carved decorations, and jewellery. Jade symbolizes: harmony, balance, integrity, longevity, and prosperity. 

Agate symbolizes balance, stability, and protection. Used since ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Greece, it was prized for amulets, seals, and jewelry. Believed to ward off evil and enhance strength, agate remains a symbol of harmony, grounding, and resilience.

This Type A Jade in this necklace is sourced from the Dongcai, China from a second-generation Jade carving family.

• Grade AA Freshwater Pearls.


•  The fine metal parts are all gold-fill. Both are tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic for most skin types. Gold-fill is 8-10 times thicker than plating and considered demi-fine jewellery. 


• Jade beads are approximately 3mm and Type A that are natural and not chemically treated.


• Brown Jade Heart cOllie pendant measures 5mm.


• Agate teabag pendant measures 19mm x 14mm.
