These vintage kilims are the VERY rugs that inspired Swedish rug designers of the mid-century modern movement and who were strong followers of Bauhaus design...and, as a result, were and still are sought after by top tier decorators all over the world.
Vintage Anatolian kilim rug from the western Ephesus region of Turkey .. this is an eclectic colorful embroidery goat hair and wool kilim rug.
Colors range from muted colors in varying shades of gray, purple, some pink and off white with dark brown and black outlines and borders. Cicim symbols abound on this eclectic kilim.
Professionally cleaned, blocked and restored.
