This one-of-a-kind Over-Dyed Hi-Low Pile Vintage Rug was handwoven in Turkey around 30–40 years ago from the finest wool on cotton. Originally a traditional double-knotted Anatolian carpet, it has been skillfully revived through a modern over-dyeing and carving process.
Each rug is professionally washed and neutralized before being over-dyed with rich, contemporary colors using eco-friendly dyes. The high-low pile carving technique creates a beautiful depth and texture some areas are carefully shaved while others keep their original pile height, resulting in a dimensional, sculptural look that shifts gracefully with the light.
