Our take on the iconic Levi\'s 1955 501 jean, the 1955 has a high rise and tapers from the knee to the cuff. This version is made from our 14oz indigo selvedge denim. Whilst this is a relaxed, traditional cut, it is extremely flattering on many body types.

Our Fabric Notes

This 14oz denim offers a lighter, more manageable weight compared to Iron Heart’s heavier fabrics. It provides structure without an extended break-in period and is comfortable for year-round wear.

Our Fit Notes

The 1955 cut features a higher rise with a roomier top block and thigh, drawing inspiration from vintage workwear silhouettes. It offers a more relaxed fit overall compared to Iron Heart’s slimmer cuts, while still maintaining structure through the leg.

Sanforized & One-Washed

• Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction


• To further reduce the risk of shrinkage, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.


• No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

Stretch Details

• The waist will stretch out approximately 1\" with wear. All other dimensions that are put under pressure will stretch proportionally to the waist

Care Guidelines

• We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
