The NW1 has a curved waistband, allowing the back to sit higher than the front, offering additional support and comfort. This cut is a straight leg with a taper, which allows it to remain a classic shape while offering more space through the leg.

This cut is suitable for those with an athletic figure or who want a straighter leg. This cut is also best for those who want a jean that is appropriate for formal and informal occasions.

Fabric and Trims

• Rinsed for 15 mins, we saved 60% water consumption compared to a horizontally loaded traditional washing machine


• 13oz ecru denim woven in Italy by Candiani


• Jeans have been pre-washed to give a soft hand feel and should have minimal shrinkage in length


• Matching dual duty thread by Coats (polyester core with cotton outer)


• Pocket bags are made of 10oz cotton twill from Turkey


• BLA-branded copper-plated nickel buttons and standard rivets produced by YKK


• Vegan cloth patch (cotton) instead of leather, to prevent bleeding in the wash


• Locally screenprinted pockets, signed off by maker with style, size and mill


• Labels are woven in Wales by GB Labels


• Recycled and sustainable denim swing tags are pressed by our neighbour Baddeley Brothers (compost them)


• The swing tag twine is hemp, so can be composted or reused
