Special and Soft! I dyed all of the yarn for this incredibly soft, woven, 100% Non Superwash Wool, hand dyed, Runner rug or mat.
Woven on my Ashford rigid heddle loom in my home studio, this rug or mat has hand dyed NY Farm Yarn as the warp and the weft is a commercial Andean Highland Peruvian wool from Knomad yarns which I also dyed.
A few floats here and there give some interest and texture to the plain weave.
A hand made hand sewn tag is discretely in the bottom corner and is the very first item of a future collection of woven wool rugs.
