HOT ! \"Pearlescent Lucite & Filigree\" Vintage 1950\'s Pearlescent Lucite & Filigree Box Bag

Rendered in the most decadent pearlescent marbled lucite set off my gold toned filigree metal, this original 1950\'s lucite box bag, is sure to be a favourite in your handbag collection. The elegant flat lid of the bag, is decorated with a trailing floral filigree brass panel, overlaid over a gold coloured metal base. The lift lock clasp, joins the main body of the bag with a metal stud fastening. The curved rectangular design of the bag, is finished with 4 decorative feet, and large lucite handles which join the bag with concealed hinges, allowing for ease when opening it. The bag opens to a simple central compartment and features a mirror along the underside of the lid.

Condition: In beautiful vintage condition with some light and general surface scratches to the lucite, and natural tarnishing to the metal features. Two deeper scratches along the base of the left hand side handle.A small pink linear mark along the left hand side panel.
