Super sweet small rectangular side table, decorated with red clay tiles designed by Taylor Tilery. The Taylor Tilery Brothers were well known in the Santa Monica area during the 1930s for their colorful and inventive ceramic tile tables. The tiles were made from local red-clay and depicted landscapes and monetary style patterns. This time period in Southern California was known as the \"golden era of tile making\", many tables such as this one came from this boom.
The 6 tile table depicts a geometrical floral pattern that blooms outwards in orange, blue and green.
Great condition. The oak base legs are connected by decorative wood pieces. Legs have some scratches, original grout.
