It\'s been woven into a traditional southwestern pattern using a woven wool rug technique. The knife edging accentuates the on the two edges of the pillow.
This pillow is woven using the woolen rug flat weaving technique. The pattern is woven into the piece. The wool yarns change colors where the pattern changes. Sometimes, a yarn end will become visible at that connection. This should not be considered a flaw but rather a characteristic of the pillows handcraftedness. This knife edged pillow features a solid coordinating cotton back with a hidden zipper closure.
