The key is in the geometry. The proprietary wave filter sits inside a matching 20-wave brewer, creating small air gaps that limit contact between the two. This allows water to flow evenly across the entire coffee bed rather than channeling down the sides. The flat bottom with three holes prevents water from pooling, so every ground gets the same contact time.
