 Plaid gets a fresh new look with our JH x Tensira Keaton Pillows. These timeless throw pillows were created in collaboration with Tensira — a celebrated textile house founded by a Guinean and Finnish husband-and-wife duo that blends Scandinavian aesthetics with ancestral West African weaving and dyeing techniques. We dreamed up Keaton’s scaled-up plaid design in-house, drawing on simple, classic Scandinavian motifs and the fresh indigo and white color scheme found traditional African cloth. Tensira’s team of skilled craftswomen then brought our design to life using cotton that was spun and woven by hand and indigo-dyeing techniques that have been passed down for generations. The perfect mix of European elegance and global authenticity, Keaton is great solo on a favorite armchair but even better layered with our other JH x Tensira Pillows on a sofa or bed for an effortlessly chic feel.
