Detailed information on Vintage Ecanada White on Blue Jasperware Teapot
This teapot may bear resemblance to Wedgwood, but it is actually from Ecanada. The company was established in Hamilton, Ontario by a former Wedgwood employee who immigrated to Canada. It operated from 1926 to 1953.
Measuring 4.5 inches in height and 8 inches in length, as noted on the bottom, it has a capacity of 4 cups.
While showing minimal signs of use, it remains in excellent condition except for a few noticeable features indicating it is not Wedgwood, such as residue on the white overlay, uneven transitions between the pot and the handle and spout, and an excessive amount of glaze on the filter inside.
