A very comfortable mid century bamboo and rattan lounge chair by British firm, Angraves of Leicester, part of the Invincible range.

All beige cushions shown are jersey bobble featuring diamond pattern, which are included in the price. All cushions measure 43cm x 43cm.

Angraves was founded in 1912 by George Angrave and his brother, Robert Angrave, in Thurmaston, Leicester.

In the 1950\'s, the company was taken over by Robert\'s son, Robert Ronald Angrave, who developed the business throughout the 1960\'s and 1970\'s.

The Brook Street firm supplied furniture to both small independent stores and major high street names.

Angraves was the last cane and bamboo furniture manufacturer in the country and had held that position for some years until the company sadly closed its doors for the final time in 2011.
