Every Rustic Loom design starts with a painted sketch in our Brooklyn studio. Ikat weaving is a super intricate craft. We work with artisans in India who tie and dye warp threads on a loom to create the pattern, then weave fabric in small batches.  The design process is completed by a women’s organization in India who sew the fabrics into product.
