HOT ! Merkur Dining Chair

Designed by Oslo-based design studio Skogstad & Wærnes, Audo Copenhagen\'s Merkur Dining Chair was originally designed for one of Norway\'s most monumental buildings, the Oslo Stock Exchange. Inspired by the historical context and the stock exchange\'s significance, the intention was to create sturdy yet elegant pieces of furniture that fit into the space.Crafted from a solid wood frame with a moulded plywood seat and back using traditional craftsmanship techniques, the Merkur Dining Chair is a timeless design with excellent form and function. Thanks to its curved back and moulded seat the chair provides long comfort and outstanding posture while seated. Balancing a robust construction with refined aesthetics, the chair is a versatile piece bringing a clean and minimalist style to its surroundings. Optional armrests add another aesthetic element and function to the design.The Merkur Dining Chair is also available in an upholstered version.
