I\'ve been looking for a product like this for a long time.
Because it is rare and hard to find,
We decided to recreate it in a style suited to Japan.

We aim to create antique furniture, and we make our pieces using the same techniques as around 1800.
For this reason, scientific treatments such as waterproofing have been kept to a minimum.

If you wish to place a vase or similar item on the table, please place a mat or similar underneath.
If left wet for a long time, it will stain.
If you wipe the tabletop with a damp cloth every time, the paint will gradually peel off after a few years.

*These doors are structurally difficult to make, and curved doors are especially difficult to make. There may be slight differences in the fit of the two doors, but please enjoy this as a characteristic of the product.
*The metal parts of the door are designed to have some slack to move. Misalignment may occur during delivery or use, but you can use it without any problems by slightly moving the receiving metal parts (top and bottom).



*Because we use water-based paint, cracks like those in the image may occur. There are paints that can prevent this, but please note that we use environmentally friendly paint that does not produce a shine in order to reproduce the texture of antiques.
*Since solid wood is used, the wood expands and contracts depending on the season. (In winter, it contracts due to dryness, and in summer, it expands due to humidity.) For this reason, there are no guide rails. Please note that if the wood expands, it may become difficult to insert and remove the drawers. Please open and close carefully with both hands.
*Cracks may occur depending on the moisture level in the air. Solid wood adapts to environmental moisture, temperature and exposure to sunlight, so if it is placed in a location with lots of sunlight or placed too close to a heat source such as a radiator or fireplace, it may move even after many years.

*When you open the door or drawer, you may smell wood or paint. This will disappear naturally after a certain period of use, but if it bothers you, please use a commercially available deodorizer. Please note that this product has been properly stored in a warehouse.
