Clean lined, modern bench made out of hinoko (Japanese cypress) - the tallest we carry. Just the subtle scent of hinoko will make you feel like you are in a traditional Japanese bath. The smell of cypress is supposed to have therapeutic properties causing relaxation.

And while you can’t leave your stool soaking in water, if drained the wood resists rot and mold.  Hinoko is the wood of choice for temples and shrines so they can last centuries.
