In 2007, Bosch acquired Florida based FHP Manufacturing Co. the manufacturer of electric geothermal heat pumps gaining a foothold in the U.S. market for water source heat pumps.

In 2013 Bosch entered into a Joint Venture with Carrier and began to produce the Aquazone Water Source Heat Pump line at the FHP Manufacturing plant where the current Bosch models are made.
